A portion of Route 113 - approximately a mile from the Black Rock boatdocks - collapsed leaving a gaping hole in the roadway measuring atleast 10-feet deep stretching across the entire road.

Borough manager Anthony DiGirolomo released a statement to The Phoenix regarding the situation to alert area residents.

I was lucky enough to be awake around 4:30 this morning, when there was heavy rain over Phoenixville. Otherwise, I would have had water coming into the laundry area and hallway of the basement level of my apartment -- there's a drain just outside the door to the laundry area that apparently becomes an outlet for water during heavy rain ( Read more... )

Okay, so by the time I rolled back into the 'ville everything seemed okay. But according to the Phoenix, shit was really bad yesterday. And phoenixville.org still says we're in State of Emergency.

Does anyone know what roads are closed/blocked/flooded in Phoenixville? I'm coming from the King of Prussia area and heard that 23 is closed by the dam. Anyone know of any alternate routes to get into town?

I was walking down the street today and I saw this car that was burried in snow. First thing I said was "well that sucks" then I said "that car was owned by that snow."

So I took a picture of it.

14 inches, yay! My only complaint is that it did not come on a school day. Now we most likely won't get a snow day out of it.
